The Dakota Skater is gorgeous and comfortable! Dakota is the name of the original painting and dog featured in this painting fetching a stick from a mountain lake at sunrise. This original artwork is part of the Sunshine Collection and was created by burning the drawing into wood, watercolor, oil paint, encaustic (bees wax paint), sequins, glitter, faux gold leaf. Painted in Feb 2017, this artwork was inspired by having fun in the sunshine and the adventures Grace, her Dad, and Dakota took in the backcountry of Colorado. Dakota is the dog breed: German Boxer and she is seen throughout the Sunshine Collection with is all about having fun in the sunshine!
