Description: Hero and Martyr Series: Yeb Sano was the ambassador for the Philippines who was attending the Climate Change Council Conference in 2013 when Hurricane Haiyan destroyed his country and left thousands of people dead or in absolutely devistating distruction. Due to this Sano went on hunger strike during the conference to represent the suffering of his people and the true effects of climate change. This print is to commemorate the lives lost to senseless violence and is in solidarity with the efforts to one day achieve equality and justice for all people. The image is carved into wood, then ink, paper, and pressure create a limited edition hand pulled print by Grace Noel Art.
