I have been loving this new “dichro-ish” process with epoxy and UV resin. The faux dichroic look comes from a film that ripples when a heat gun is applied to it. That film can be cut to the size of the mold and inserted into either epoxy or UV resin. The result is beautiful and not as fragile as dichroic glass. I’ve really enjoyed this process for my new bangle bracelets because I absolutely love the way dichroic glass looks but don't want to risk the bracelet breaking while wearing it. Using this dichroic process for resin eliminates the risk of glass jewelry breaking while wearing it!
